Merry Christmas!!

I know a day late and a dollar short..........  Oh well...

Anyway is a Christmas Video Here

Tany's photos

Tany did an interview for Teen People magazine here are the pinups and shots from that.

TP: Tany, thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule and doing this interview.

Tany:  It's my pleasure.

TP:  You have a really busy schedule?

Tany: (Smiling) Yes, it is really busy.  But I like being busy.

TP: Yes, I can understand that,  Do ever have time to watch any TV and If so, what do you watch?

Tany:  I hardly ever have time to watch any TV, that is kinda sad.  I do try to watch E.R. though, my mother got me hooked on that.

TP:  Is that a guilty pleasure?

Tany: (Laughing) No, I don't think I really have a guilty pleasure.  (She looks up at the ceiling), wait yes I do.  It's really cheesy, but I absolutely love to watch Soaps.  I was home sick from school one day and I was flipping through the channels, when Guiding Light came on and I was hooked.  Is that what you mean?

TP: Yes, that was exactly what I meant.  So you have a guilty pleasure as far as TV, what are some of your music, guilty pleasures?

Tany: Wow, that is kinda hard, because I like all kinds of music, I think some of my fans would be surprised that I do listen to and enjoy Country music.  (Shrugging) I am from Texas.

TP:  I have read that, is Texas different from Los Angeles?

Tany: Actually I am finding them to be very similar.  Both are very relaxed and you get a sense of peace, but one major difference is the sauces.

TP:  Ok, you have to explain that.

Tany:  The sauces in Texas are so much hotter, (seeing my expression) The Barbeque Sauces.

TP: (Nodding I moved on to the next question), Your father is John Connors, Actor and Director. Do you feel it is harder or easier to be in this business?

Tany:  I think it is harder in the sense that you are under a microscope, if you do anything wrong they will compare you to your father. Or people will say that you got in the business because of your father or mother is some cases.  So far I have not had to deal with that.  But then again, I am not an actress yet.

TP:  You said yet, do you plan on becoming an actress?

Tany: Gosh no, right now I am just concentrating on this career.

TP: What does your father think about all this?

Tany:  He is sitting back and watching, He is proud of Jonny and myself.  I think he knows what it is like and is willing to back away and let us make our own mistakes.  He is actually, in a weird way, responsible for all of this.  He had several rules and we had to follow them.  One was we had to play an instrument.  Well some of us, not only play an instrument but can play several.

TP:  So he made you play an instrument.  Which one did you choose to play?

Tany: I went with the piano at first. Only because I saw my mother teaching it to Jonny and I wanted to learn how too.  So she taught us together.  Later I would ask for a guitar for Christmas.  The guitar came very easy for me.  The bass was not far from the guitar so that was easy too.

TP:  So how many instruments can you play?

Tany:  (Laughing and smiling, her face is lit up)  As of right now seven.  It is becoming a joke in my family, you know, "How many instruments can you play?"  The piano, guitar, bass guitar, violin, sax, the standing bass and the drums.

TP: Wow, you are musical, when did you know you could sing?

Tany:  I think, at a very early age.  I remember being around four and having to sing for some of my dad's friends.

TP:  What is more thrilling to do, play an instrument or sing in front of an audience?

Tany:  Oh, wow, I do love just sitting down and it only being me and the piano, but I love the interaction between me and the audience.  I love my fans, so I am going to say being in front of the them.

TP: That is great and you are starting to get a great fan base,  Myself included, we (fans) can't wait until you come out with your second album.  When will that be?

Tany: Thank you, gosh that is awesome.  We will be releasing the first single here in a few months then who knows.  Jonny, Steven, Mike, Cale and I are working our little tushies off so we can get some songs, for it.

TP: With Miracle the Album it was kind of a theme, wasn't it?

Tany: Yes, I don't really know how or why, but yes it ended up being that way.  No, I take that back, it was kinda a miracle, how we got started and I think that is why we ended up going with that theme.

TP:  Will the second one have a theme?

Tany:  Gosh, I don't know yet.  I do know that it is going to be great.  I am enjoying recording it.

TP:  Before I go can I ask, if it isn't to personal, where did you get your scar?

Tany:  No it is not personal and the short answer is I fell on a pitch fork, while jumping off the hay loft and landing in a pile of hay.

TP:  Wow, well Tany I am sad to say that is all the time I have, thank you again for taking time out.

Tany:  You are very welcome, like I said earlier, it is my pleasure.

Chapter 12 "The Cell"

May 23rd, 2000 Just outside of Dallas, TX.

Tany was sitting on the bench waiting for there turn.  They were at the Texas State Fair.  Although, they had two number one hits and a gold record, they still needed exposure. Tany was pretty sure this wasn't going to work.  But she was willing to listen to her older brother who was soon to be a married man.  Tany thought Al getting married was really cool.  She was actually really excited.

She knew they were meant to be together.  She started to wonder what Scott was doing at that very moment.

"Cut, check the gate. Good Job Scott. Let's Break for lunch." James shouted.

"Hey so it looks like that is it for you this week, talk to the script supervisor, I think next Thursday is when we need you back.  Do you have any plans for your holiday?"
"Not really, just going home and visiting the folks." He lied.
"Ok well see you then."

With that Scott went into his trailer, took off his makeup and grabbed his bag that he had packed the night before and he was off.  He was going to see her and she had no idea.  This was going to be the best surprise ever.  He couldn't wait to hold her, kiss her and make love to her.  He wanted to spend all week with her, but he did promise his mother and father a few days with them.  He kinda missed his little brother, Michael.

Jonny was just about to put his cigarette out, when a woman came up to him.  "Hey, can I get your autograph, or is that being to much of a craze fan."

He looked up and there was Jenny.  "Hey, what the heck are you doing here."
"Working, I need some money to go back to school."
"Wow, small world huh?"
"Yeah, I guess, so what are you doing here?"
"We are working too, trying to get some exposure."

"Oh, huh."
"I better get back before my sister has a conniption fit and thinks I am on a binger."
"Ok, nice seeing you again."
"Yeah you too."

Jonny turned around and started to open the gate, "Say, you want to get a drink after your done."
"No, I am trying to cut back."
"Oh, Ok, well I will....."

"I would love some company at dinner though."
Jenny smiled, "Ok, I will be back in ten minutes."

"Let me just let my Bodyguard know.  Biff."  Jonny yelled.  Biff walked out and Jenny got a little scared.
"Hey, this is Jenny she is going to be coming back in ten minutes I know her, will you let her in."
"Hi, nice to meet you Jenny."
"You too.  Ok I will be back."
She walked away and as soon as she was out of ear shot,  "She seems nice."
"Yeah she does."

Tany looked out into the crowd through the hole in the fence.  She could have sworn she saw Scott, with longer and blonde hair.  But that couldn't be Scott he was hundreds of miles away making a movie.  She was really missing him.

She was in deep reverie when Jonny tapped her on her shoulder.  "Hey Mouth, we uh, going to perform today or are you going to stare off in space the whole time?"
"What? Oh yeah."

Alberto was looking at them waving his arm towards them.  "Come on guys, you are up."

Tany and Jonny lined up behind the band.  Once the announcer called "The Connors"  the band would go first, Jonny second and Tany last.  Giving Tany the kudos she deserved.   "They have two number one hits and a gold album, give it up for "The Connors."  Everyone walked onto the stage and took their places.  Jonny went to the keyboard of course and Tany walked over  to the mike.

When she looked out at the crowd she saw him.  It was Scott, she wanted to let him know that she saw him.  She didn't know really what to do, so she winked.  She hoped he understood that was meant for him.  He did, of course and that would become both the couple's sign.  If either were ever without the other, they would wink.

The sang "Miracle" first.  Tany started to explain the special meaning of "Because the Night".  "My father knew my mother......"  "Boo, you guys suck," a man shouted from the audience.  Right away, Biff and Al were on it.  They were trying to get to the man.  Unfortunately so was Scott.

Tany continued, "He knew my mother loved Patti Smith so he bought her the record, hoping that would seal the....."  "You need to get off the stage, Losers," Again he shouted.  Scott got to him before Al and Biff and asked him politely to leave, that there were people here to watch them.

The man turned around and said, "No, they suck, hey aren't you....." Scott punched the man in the face.  The man went down, "No, I am not."

Tany saw the whole thing, she had to finish their set.

Watching as Scott was being lead away by the cops.  She was mortified, but she kept the show going.  "The show must go on" as they say.

Al talked to one of the cops and got all the information.

After they were done, Tany didn't say goodnight, have fun or anything she just left.  She ran to the car, Biff following on her heal.  They both go into the car and took off for the police station.  When they arrived, one of the cops asked for Tany's autograph for his daughter, she gave it to and in turn he let her go back into the holding cell.

Scott was sitting on the bed, when Tany walked in, her heart flipped.  He was holding his head in his hand, he looked up.  Tany walked over to the cell and put her hands on it.  Scott got up and also walked over to the bars.

"Hey, listen..."  "Scott Allen Wright, what were you thinking?"  "I wasn't, I just..."

"No, you weren't that is so right."
"I just wanted...."
"You know Al and Biff were going to handle him."
"I kno...."
"So why, would you do that?"
"If you would...."
"Do you even realize what this will do."
"Tanz, shut up and let me explain for one minute."
"Scott....."
"No, you are going to listen to me for a second and then you can chew me a new asshole, bite of my head, whatever you want to do, kay?"
She nodded, "Good, I know they were going to handle it, but I promised you I would always, always protect you."  He said as he looked her in the eyes.
"But...."
"I am sorry, I know this will be in the paper and I know this will probably smear "The Connors" name in the mud, but I couldn't let him do that to you."
Tany smiled a little.
"Is that a smile?"
"You, I can't be mad at you.  Did it feel good?"
"What?"
"Did it feel good to punch that S.O.."

"Yes it did, now get over here."  He said grabbing her arm, and they kissed.

"I love you, Tanz, thanks for the wink."
"I love you too, Scotters, you caught that did you?"

*Thanks Aeon, for the fighting poses.*

Chapter 11 "The Divorce"

March 17th, 2000 Los Angeles, CA.

Jonny was sitting across from Cheryl.  She had obviously been crying.  Why?, she was getting the house.  Well he was giving it to her.  He owned everything and he just wanted her out.

"Mrs. Connors, Do you understand the documents infront of you?"  The Judge asked Cheryl.  Crying, "Yes, I understand."
"Ok, I need you to sign here and initial here." he said pointing to the different lines.
"Now I am assuming you would like to take back your name?"  "Yes."  More tears.  Jonny rolled his eyes, he was feeling very uncomfortable.  He just wished this was over with.  He was starting to get an itch to drink.

"Mr. Connors, Do you understand the document infront of you?" He asked Jonny.  Jonny replied that he did.
"Sign here and initial here, please."  Jonny took the pen and did as he was told.
"Now it is my understanding, That, Mr. Connors you get everything except the house?"  He said looking at both Cheryl and Jonny.
"Yes, your honor."
"Ok, then you are to remove everything from the property no later than Friday March, 24th.  You are not allowed to be at the premises during that time.  It this clear?"  Both, "Yes."

"Alright, well it always saddens me to say this but your divorce is final, you are no longer married."  And with that he walked out of the room.

Jonny hurried out, he didn't want to engage in any conversation with Cheryl.  He was now a free man and he felt like celebrating.  He went to the nearest bar, sat down and ordered a drink.

Jonny had been there for several hours, when his cell phone rang.  "Hello."  "WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?"  Al shouted.
"What, I am at Expo, having a few drinks."
Al turned to Tany, "He is at a bar."
"Give me the phone."

Al didn't, "Jonny, did you forget we have studio time?"  "Oh, yeah, huh, ha Ok, I will be there in a few minutes."

Tany grabbed the phone, "I am sending Biff, don't drive Jonny."  "Tany, I have only had a few drinks, I promise I will be fine."
"Jonny if you drive, I am kicking you ou......."  Al grabbed the phone back, "Don't go anywhere Jonny, Biff has already left."
"Fine, whatever dude."  Al hung up the phone.

Tany sat there stewing.  Al, was thinking that Tany was gettting more and more crabby as time got closer for Scott to leave.
"You can't tell him he is out of the band."
"No, but if he keeps this up, It will be me or him, Al."
"Mouth, just because you are upset that Scott is leaving, don't take it out on Jonny and myself."
"What, I am not crabby because Scott is leaving,  I am sick of this."

"You need to lay off."
"WHAT?  ME LAY OFF!!,  How about he lays off the drinking?"  And with that she walked out.

Jonny had been sitting on the curb when Biff pulled up.  He got in the car and Biff took off.

"How much trouble am I in?"
"Tany is pretty upset."
"I just wanted a few drinks, I am a free man now."
"Hey, don't explain it to me, I am just the driver."
"No way, man, you are part of the Family now."
"No offense, Jonny, but if this is how you treat your family, I don't think I want to be a part of it."
"What, you don't know a thing about me, you just barely got on the payroll."
"Exactly."

Biff pulled into the parking lot and Al was waiting for him.  Biff didn't open the door for Jonny.  "Before you go in, you need to know that Tany is extremely upset."

"So, why is that my problem."
"Because, she is the leader of this band, Jonny."
"What, since when?"
"Since, I became manager."
"You can't be serious. So, you made her the leader, without consulting me."
"Jonny, It was more of a group decision."
"Who?"  Jonny was getting redder and redder.  Tany had been listening to the whole conversation, in fact any one within ear shot, could hear Jonny and Al.

She walked out, "Jonny," He turned toward her, "It was everyone, the band, Al and I."

He walked over to her, "How can you do this to me, Without me, there is no you." Tany stood there, trying to compose herself.
"Jonny, I love you and you know why I am doing this."
"Oh give me a break, you aren't doing it just for me, you know as well as I do, you are doing it because you love it." He said through clinched teeth.

Al stepped in the middle, "Ok, that's it. Jonny go settle down, Tany go back inside."  Jonny did as Al told and Tany walked back inside.

Tany was sitting by Steve, they had finished a song and were trying to think of another song, when Jonny walked in.  "Can I talk to you alone?"  Tany sat there looking at both of her brothers.  Al gave her a quick nod.  She walked out of the room, with Jonny.

"Listen...."
"No, you listen, I am sick of your shit.  I am not going to tolerate it any more."
"Tany, I am sorry, I just thou..."
"No that is it, Jonny, you don't,  Give me one good reason, why I should even except your apology."
"Because I am your brother and you love me."
"Jonny....."
"I know, I am an asshole, a jerk, a moron, did I cover it?"

She smiled a little.  He leaned down.  "Jonny, NO more drugs, no more alcohol or I will Jonny."
"Ok, that sounds fair, Thanks mouth."
"Don't thank me, just don't do it anymore. I want my big brother back."
"I am back, I promise."

That night Tany sat down on her bed, with her guitar and wrote a song.  Tany didn't know but that song would come to mean more than her yelling at her brother.
