Chapter 8 "The Fear"

December 30th 2000

Tany woke up in her own bed.  She remembered the night before.  Scott and Tany Flew home.  She rolled over to feel him but he was gone. She could hear the shower running and she smelled the coffee brewing.

Tany slowly sat up, her feet dangling off the bed.  It wasn't until she got out of bed that she remembered Scott's cast.

Walking into the bathroom to chew him out.  She stopped mid way.  Scott wasn't completely in the shower.
his cast was out on the floor and his other leg was in the shower.  She smiled to herself. Tany heard him turn the water off.  Scott opened the curtain, smiled and said, "Good morning beautiful".

Tany replied with, "I thought we had discussed this,  that I would be willing to help you do things like take a shower?"

"I know, you were sleeping so good and we got in late last night.  I didn't want to wake you."

"Okay, but you need me to help you.  Promise, Scott."

"Okay, I promise." He kissed her on her forhead while reaching for the towel. She grabbed her tooth brush and brushed her teeth.

Cintia sat on the bar stool eating some cereal.  Her favorite was Chocapic.  She had four months of School and then Jonny said she could join the band.  She didn't want to sing, but she could play the guitar.

She was deep in thought.  Juno came into the kitchen.
"Hey good morning."

"Good morning, why are you so chipper?"

"I am going riding with Dad."

John Connors owns a horse ranch.  He breeds and sells mostly Quarter horses.
He has five children and three enjoy horseback riding.  Juno loves to ride but Tany and Al love, love to ride.

Cinita got a smirk on her face, "You better not be riding Midnight."  Juno stuck out his tongue.

John came into the kitchen wondering what his youngest children were up to.  Cintia shrugged knowing what the conversation was and where it was heading.

She finished her cereal, put her bowl in the sink and decided to go practice her guitar some more.

Tany was standing on the spot she would be singing in front of her peers.  Tany had discussed it with Rebecca, Tany would become the performer she was meant to be.

And if that meant she had to show a little skin than that is exactly what she was going to do.

As she stood there looking out at the empty theater, butterflies started to come as she became nervous.
She put her hand on her stomach, imagining what it was going to be like.  Nerves were getting the best of her and she knew it.  She was getting frustrated.  She wasn't even in front of the audience.
She was literally standing in front of an empty theater.

Taking a deep breath and sighing, she got ready to leave.  "Hey are you, Tany?"  The man asked sticking out his hand.

Grabbing it and shaking it,  "Yes, Yes I am.  Can I help you?"  It was a very nice looking young man.  He must've been around Tany's age, maybe a little older.

"Yeah, I was told to meet you here.  I am going to be your dancer."

"My dancer, aren't there going to be more dancers?"  A little panic hit Tany.

"Yes, but I will be your partner."

"Oh, you scared me...sorry I didn't get your name."

"Sorry, I am Rocco Pearson."

"It's nice to meet you, Rocco."

The choreographer was Sofia Kozlov, whom Tany thought was a little on the crazy side.  Sofia made the men do there parts over and over again.  If it hadn't been for one of the female dancers, Valerie McKinney.  Who spoke up and said she needed to go over the middle.  Who knows what would have happened.

Rocco bent down and whispered in Tany's ear, "I think she needs to get laid."  Tany laughed.

Sofia just gave the couple and evil look.  "Let's take it from the middle frame."  With that Rocco and Tany were up front.  The other six dancers were behind them.  It actually was looking really good.
Tany would start out on a platform but they had to use their imagination.  Sofia finally called time to finish for the day.

Tany patting her face with the towel,

she wondered if Rebecca was able to talk to the costume coordinator.  Rebecca would be getting everyone's sizes and would start fitting tomorrow.  Sabrina was out researching some different hairstyles.
Tany left the Gym, feeling a bit better, but still nervous.

  1. Love it! Glad to see Jonny isn't in it. I mean he is nice and all, but let's get real, he is making me mad. What a cute fun little chapter.
